Do I know my readers?  Al was calling me a freak and telling me no one would get my “Say Anything” reference. Not only did they get it, the exact two people I told her would enjoy it were the only ones that commented.

Now for some obscure tv references.  Not much to say about these…

Other than… “In DOG we trust.”

Anybody seen Leland???

Something Big…

Al has been hounding me non-stop.  Update the blog, update the blog….  Little did she know, this was all part of my plan.  Like last season when Lost took a six-week hiatus.  All part of the plan to build the tension.

I knew when I came back, it had to be something big.  Something like…playing house.

If you scan the older posts you’ll see that when CB was almost 2 years old, Al picked up a playhouse with a billion different accessories, and a whole cast of assorted family members.  CB was obsessed.

For the better part of the next 2 years I spent every waking moment playing house.  This gets old, quickly.  So, we improvised.  We had birthday parties, anniversary parties, terrorist attacks, ninjas breaking in at midnight – the last few scenarios were mine, but hey, I was desperate.  A man can only take so much.  Finally, the thrill died down a bit.  But, like all things, what was once old is new again.

Little sister has taken up the torch, and might be even more obsessed than CB.  I walk through the door and am greeted with “Hi Daddy!  Sister’s Room?”  I’m then dragged back to the same house, with the same people.  Something’s gotta give.

I’m now working with a script.  80’s movies seemed like a good place to start.  Some of the dialogue is over MK’s head, but she doesn’t seem to mind.  Al thinks it’s ridiculous, but she’s not serving time in the hole.

Trivia time.  Surely there are some Breakfast Club era fans out there.

Notice the forlorn man across the street.

Gotta be some Lloyd fans out there…

Help me out here, or Al really is locking me up.
